Beth Norton is a storyteller, comedian and producer of live events currently based in Boise, Idaho. She is best known locally as the director and emcee of Story Story Late Night where she curates themes, coaches featured storytellers, and delivers her own stories.

As a survivor of child abuse and the foster care system, Beth believes that no story is too difficult to tell. She has mastered the art of vulnerability, humor and resilience through storytelling and enjoys helping others to find their way through.

Stand-up comedy found Beth checking coats at a music venue in Burlington, VT in 2014. She has since performed in many clubs and festivals including Treefort's Comedyfort, 208 Comedy Fest and the Idaho Laugh Fest in 2020 where she tied for 1st in the Idaho Pun Slam. She has emcee’d major events like the Idaho Dems Gala in 2022 and is always looking for more of these kinds of opportunities!

The proud owner of BetNorty’s Cat Ranch Productions, LLC, Beth also produces Idaho’s Best, Worst & Weirdest Comedians, a mini comedy festival and spoof of a comedy competition which embraces the art at its most absurd and in a variety of forms- stand-up, musical comedy and burlesque!

In her day job, Beth enjoys planning events that support the robust refugee resettlement community in Idaho including a yearly conference which hosts over 600 people. She houses two cats, Scratchy and Fabs, and really enjoys backpacking, without the cats.
